Job description

The Field Engineer supports telecommunications projects by performing essential hands-on tasks such as equipment installation, system testing, and maintenance. This role requires frequent daily travel to client sites, working mostly independently or in small teams to ensure systems operate optimally. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and effective client communication are key to successfully maintaining network infrastructure and deploying new technology.

Responsibilities

  • Install telecommunications equipment at client locations
  • Conduct comprehensive system testing using appropriate tools and software
  • Provide maintenance and preventive support to ensure system reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently on-site
  • Engage with clients to maintain strong professional relationships
  • Work independently or collaborate within small teams of 2-5 members
