EMT 1

Position Summary

Multi-skilled technician responsible for executing preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment under supervision.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Pay rate of $32/hr-35/hr, plus shift differential 
  • Schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd available : 1st (6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd (2:00pm-10:30pm), 3rd (10:00pm-6:30am)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PMs and basic work orders on assigned equipment
  • Replace mechanical components (bearings, belts, chains, gaskets, sensors)
  • Perform basic electrical work (motors, switches, contactors)
  • Follow LOTO and all safety processes
  • Assist higher-level techs with troubleshooting and rebuilds

Required Experience

  • 1-3 years industrial maintenance experience OR trade school equivalent
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment (internship, apprenticeship, or entry-level role)

Required Certifications / Training

  • Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E awareness)
  • LOTO trained and qualified
  • Basic electrical training (voltage measurement, meter usage)
  • Mechanical fundamentals training (power transmission, pneumatics)

Skill Level

  • Works with guidance
  • Executes tasks using standard work

The approximate pay for this position is $32/hr-35/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
