Make a real impact! We're hiring a part-time, entry-level Cashier at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! This role is ideal for someone ready to turn reliability and customer service skills into hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The talented team at Craft Culinary Concepts brings their top tier service and management to leading stadiums, sports venues, cultural attractions and music venues across the nation.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cashier is a front-line team member responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service in a high-volume venue environment. This role processes guest transactions, assists with food and beverage service, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting overall team success.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet guests promptly and provide courteous, efficient service.
  • Accurately take orders, process credit card transactions
  • Perform manual calculations when necessary.
  • Fulfill guest orders by coordinating with cooks or runners or by directly retrieving food and beverage items.
  • Serve food and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages only as permitted and in compliance with all Craft Culinary Concepts and State liquor laws.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout and after shifts.
  • Assist with restocking supplies and basic food prep as needed.
  • Support event setup, breakdown, and cleaning as directed by management.
  • Communicate guest feedback and operational needs to supervisors.
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also handling tasks independently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 16*.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, unless currently enrolled.
  • Valid County Food Handler Card required and must be in possession each shift.
  • Valid TEAM, TIPS, or AZ Title 4 certification required if 18 or older and serving alcohol.
  • Basic cash-handling skills, including the ability to total orders and make change.
  • Ability to operate a credit card machine.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of guests served.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment paperwork, background check, and basic math assessment.

Preferred:
  • Two (2) or more years of counter service, concession, or high-volume food service experience.

PHYSICAL & SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and remain mobile for up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, fluctuating temperatures, and noisy environments.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
