Job Description
Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is accepting resumes for a Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby unit to provide Part time services to our deserving Marines at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $42.08 for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $37.15 plus $4.93 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Required: minimum of one year of experiencein a Mother Baby unit in the last two years is required.
Responsibilities:

  • New mom and infant monitoring.
  • Assess for postpartum and childbirth complications.
  • Monitor for newborn complications.
  • Provide breastfeeding instruction.
  • Administer immunizations.
  • Dispense medications.
  • Discuss postpartum contraception options.
  • Conduct postpartum and infant assessments.
  • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
  • Services shall be provided 24 hours for inpatient, Monday through Sunday to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts shall normally be 0700 to 1930 or 1900 to 0730. Normally work 12.5-hour shifts and one 8.5-hour shift within two weeks. Includes an uncompensated 30-minute or 1-hour meal break, depending on shift length.

Job Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), NRP certification, and documentation of Basic Fetal Monitoring training.
  • Associates Degree of Nursing Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • One year of experience in a Mother Baby unit in the last two years is required.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any of the 50 States.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
