Global manufacturer located in Souderton PA seeks full time first shift sheet entry level and experienced metal fabricators.  Mon-Fri first shift (6:30am to 3:00pm) with overtime as required.

Job Description

Are you mechanically inclined and looking for hands-on work? If so, apply now! We are seeking full time sheet metal mechanics for our busy production department. Position involves cutting, bending, grinding, punching and shearing thin gauge sheet metal to fabricate parts for vacuum furnaces. Use of shears, brake presses, punch presses, drill presses and saws.

*Must have mechanical experience. Must be mechanically inclined. Prior sheet metal experience is a plus. (Note: this is not a welding position)

*Good basic math skills are required, must be able to use measuring devices. Ability to understand basic shop drawings/blue prints is helpful.

Experience using band saws, drill presses, brake presses, punches, grinders etc is preferred.

Qualifications

Prior sheet metal fabrication experience is preferred.

Must have good basic math skills - ability to read a tape measure and blue prints is required.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Must be reliable and have your own transportation to and from Souderton (there is no public transportation)
