Job description

Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop the next generation of cost-effective AC/DC switching power supplies. This role will be responsible for end-to-end power supply design, from concept and schematic development through validation and production release, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AC/DC switching power supplies from concept to production, including schematic design, component selection, and circuit optimization
  • Apply strong theoretical knowledge of power electronics and electrical engineering principles to achieve high efficiency, reliability, and cost targets
  • Perform design analysis, simulation, and verification to validate electrical performance
  • Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) to ensure smooth transition to mass production
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, validation, and production stages
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure overall product success
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, test reports, and technical specifications
  • Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and continuous product improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on electrical design experience in power supplies
  • Proven experience designing AC/DC switching power supplies
  • Strong theoretical foundation in power electronics and electrical concepts
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
