The opportunity
Are you a Senior Medical Writer looking for your next role? We are looking for experienced, strategic-minded professionals to join our highly talented and collaborative Envision Medical Communications team.
In this role, you'll have ample opportunity to bring fresh ideas, creativity, and scientific rigor to the work. You'll lead the development of high-quality publications and also contribute to select non-publications projects, offering variety and room to broaden your experience. In addition, you'll play a key role in coaching and mentoring junior writers while collaborating closely with colleagues across global teams.

Role responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas (Rheumatology, Immunology, Rare Disease, Oncology, and Ophthalmology), client and competitor products, and industry regulations.
  • Create scientifically accurate, high-quality, and compliant content aligned with client briefs.
  • Contribute to discussion on strategic alignment and communication approaches for assigned projects.
  • Participate in and present at client meetings and onsite programs, assisting in preparation of materials, as needed.
  • Contribute to the scientific content for new business opportunities/proposals, and when appropriate, participate in pitch presentations.
  • Effectively manage and prioritise workload, following processes aligned with internal and client SOPs to deliver to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Provide critical review and feedback on work, ensuring scientific accuracy and data checks against source materials.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and advice for entry-level writers, as required.
  • Contribute to project tracking and reporting using relevant tools (e.g. DataVision, iEnvision, Zinc, Clear), as appropriate.

Skills & expertise
  • An advanced degree in a life sciences or clinical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive demonstrable medical communications experience in an agency setting.
  • Ability to effectively interpret, evaluate and communicate complex scientific data in a variety of styles and formats.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and external experts.
  • Expertise in use of online and other data sources for literature reviews and information retrieval.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and experience with graphing/referencing software (e.g. EndNote and GraphPad Prism).

Salary range (for US roles only): $88,500 - $115,100
The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an attractive total compensation benefits package designed to reward and support our people.
