Qualifications

Education

  • Required
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:

  • Required
    • One to three years of experience in Medical Coding

Certification/Licensure:

  • Required
    • Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
      • Must be obtained before hire date
    • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
      • Must be obtained before hire date
    • Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)
      • Must be obtained before hire date
    • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
      • Must be obtained before hire date
