  • Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test
  • Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
  • Food Handlers' certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Assist Director and LVN Supervisor of AL in medication management,
  • Provides clerical and computer support, including reordering medications and supplies in compliance with DSS regulations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the Matrix Electronic Medical Records system and supports staff training related to medication ordering and administration.
  • Responds to emergency calls, assists with ADLs, and follows medication administration procedures.
  • Assists with meal service, monitors food intake, and ensures proper resident transfers.
  • Encourages resident participation in activities, reports changes in resident conditions, and assists with the admission/re-admission process.
  • Maintains confidentiality, follows safety protocols, and helps train new staff in the med assistant role.
