Huntington Learning Center is urgently hiring math tutors! Paid training provided. This position is great for graduate students, research scholars, and new or retired math teachers.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. A bachelor's degree is REQUIRED.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • To ensure our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors must complete initial and ongoing training in Huntington's teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum.ย 
  • Our tutors must have scored at least 30 on the math sections of the ACT or 700+ on the SAT.ย 
  • If your scores are more than 5 years old, you may take a qualifying exam at our center.
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Math Areas (candidates must be proficient in at least 4 of the following):
  • Pre-Algebra.
  • Algebra I & II.
  • Geometry.
  • Trigonometry.
  • Pre-Calculus.
  • Calculus and college-level math.

There are no lesson plans to write or homework to grade. Youโ€™ll enhance your resume with highly respected experience while earning money in a flexible working environment.

Flexible Scheduling:
  • Summer Schedule: Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
  • Fall/After School Schedule: Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Job Type: Part-time.

Pay: Between $20-25 per hour, depending on experience.
