Junior Sales Associate | Manufacturing

Are you early in your sales career and eager to learn how a manufacturing business really works—from engineering and estimating to customer relationships and market expansion?


At Galion LLC, we’re looking for a Junior Sales Associate who is motivated, curious, and excited to grow into a consultative sales role that helps drive product diversification and long-term business growth.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with experienced leaders and cross-functional teams to support sales efforts while learning the technical and strategic side of the business.

  • Build and support relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Learn how to identify opportunities for product diversification and market expansion
  • Partner with Management, Estimating, and Engineering to support accurate bids and new product opportunities
  • Assist with sales planning, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Help prepare and tailor sales presentations based on customer needs and industries
  • Track activity, opportunities, and results through regular reporting
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity


Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants development, mentorship, and exposure.

  • Customer-facing experience (sales, service, account coordination, retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Motivation to learn technical products and industrial markets
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and presentations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems is a plus
  • Exposure to manufacturing, machining, or metal components is helpful—but not required


Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred

Relevant sales or marketing experience in the manufacturing industry will be considered in place of a degree


Work Environment

  • Primarily based at our manufacturing facility in Galion, Ohio
  • Travel required to support customers and business development efforts
