Job description

Entry-Level Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time

Behavioral Transformations | East of Dallas, TX | In-Clinic and In-Home

About Us

Behavioral Transformations is a privately owned ABA therapy practice with a simple motto: Therapy with Heart. We are proud to serve individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities — including the clients others are unwilling to serve. We believe every child deserves a committed, compassionate team in their corner, and we're looking for people who share that belief.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a BCBA or Clinical Director, the Behavior Technician implements individualized ABA programs for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Services are primarily provided in-clinic, with some in-home and community opportunities as well. You'll be part of a close-knit, mission-driven team that is serious about both client outcomes and staff growth.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic-based setting

· Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs (e.g., Discrete Trial Training, Verbal Behavior, Social Skills, Behavior Intervention Plans)

· Accurately collect and record daily data on skill acquisition and behavior

· Support daily living, communication, and social skills goals

· Prepare therapy materials and support clients through transitions between settings

· Communicate session progress to parents and the clinical team

· Collaborate with teachers and caregivers as needed

· Attend staff meetings and training sessions

· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Required Qualifications

(Paid training provided — no prior ABA experience necessary)

· High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred

· Genuine passion for working with children and making a difference

· Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

· Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and perform physical tasks (kneeling, squatting, reaching, etc.)

· Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

· RBT certification preferred but not required — we support you in earning it

Compensation

· Entry-Level: $16/hr.

· Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): $17–$22/hr.

· Lead RBT: $18–$23/hr.

· RBT with Supervisory Responsibilities: $21–$25/hr.

What We Offer

· Full-time schedule guaranteed for full-time applicants

· Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends!)

· CPR & CPI training provided

· Paid Time Off (after probation period, no accrual required)

· Paid Holidays (after 1 year)

· Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance (Full-Time employees)

· Free BCaBA & BCBA supervision available

· Capella University partnership — tuition discounts for employees and their families

· 401(k) with discretionary company match
