Job Overview

Colas Western Canada is a leader in road construction, aggregates, asphalt paving, and infrastructure solutions. Our teams are committed to safety, quality, and innovation and we are looking for motivated professionals who want to grow with us. 

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator (Contract) to support daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and account reconciliations. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a Finance and Accounting team while contributing to accurate and timely payment processing across the organization.
Main Responsibilities

•    Uploading and processing invoices in Verification Station
•    Communicating with subsidiaries and vendors on inquiries
•    Processing non-PO and PO invoices in OnBase
•    Processing invoices in all other applicable queues in OnBase
•    Reviewing issue queues in OnBase and determining corrective action when necessary
•    Administration of accounts payable Outlook inbox
•    Reconciliation of vendor statements
•    Inquiring with vendors on missing invoices based on statement reconciliation
•    Communicating with Accounts Payable Manager on accounts payable issues that arise
•    Other accounts payable related projects assigned by Corporate Controller and/or VP Finance
•    Other ad hoc tasks assigned by Accounts Payable Manager
•    Learning new software as required
