We are seeking motivated and driven new graduates to join our Foundations division as Project Coordinators. In this entry-level, full-time role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting complex construction projects across Western Canada. Working under the guidance of experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in construction project management while working on dynamic, large-scale projects in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support bid preparation activities and assist in securing new work
  • Help establish and maintain project systems and procedures at start-up
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination and management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate and maintain Request for Information (RFI) processes, logs, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to track project milestones and progress
  • Facilitate the distribution and tracking of drawings, logs, and transmittals
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and support procurement of materials and equipment
  • Assist with project close-out, including turnover documentation, site demobilization, and records archiving
  • Promote and support Ledcor's strong culture of health and safety on all project sites
  • Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly project reporting and controls
  • Perform other duties as required to support project success

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or working towards completion of a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Previous experience in hands-on construction work or in a supervisory role is considered an asset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across Western Canada, including fly-in/fly-out assignments, camp work, and outdoor environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within a team
  • Confident communicator who can actively participate in discussions and engage with stakeholders
  • Internship, co-op, or up to 2 years of related experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow established procedures
