Position Overview
As a Lien Negotiating Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving workers' compensation lien disputes. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our clients and the efficiency of our operations. Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Manage Account Inventory: Efficiently handle and prioritize a portfolio of lien accounts.
  • Create Plans of Action: Develop strategic plans to address and resolve lien disputes.
  • Professional Communication: Engage professionally with clients and healthcare providers to negotiate and settle liens.
  • Legal Documentation: Prepare, review, and submit necessary legal documents with precision and accuracy.
  • Medical Record Review: Analyze and summarize complex medical records to support lien negotiations.
  • Legal Analysis: Assess and formulate compelling legal arguments for effective lien negotiations.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in workers' compensation lien negotiations.
  • Certification: IEA Certificate or Certificate of Self Insurance is a plus.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of California Labor Code statutes, Rules and Regulations, case law, and California fee schedules.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pressure Handling: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team Player: Enjoys working collaboratively within a team setting.
