Launch That, a digital publishing company building the most valuable digital brands by connecting people to extraordinary resources is seeking a 1099 contractor that has expertise in Mass Tort and/or Asbestos litigation.

Description:

The Mass Tort and/or Asbestos litigation writer will produce and/or review various articles and content on drug, consumer product, environmental and other litigation topics for Launch That’s digital brands.

Assignment Details:

  • Follow detailed content strategy briefs, research the topics using well-known and reputable sources, and write pages between 1,000 and 3,000 words.
  • Occasionally write content as a subject-matter expert for third-party websites.
  • Submit completed pages within 2-3 days after receiving the assignment.
  • Fact-check and proof all content to ensure it meets the content strategy, follows the brand’s style, casual yet medically accurate tone and voice, is free of inaccuracies and errors, and is formatted correctly before submitting it to the editors.
  • Follow established content guidelines.
  • Create content using your legal experience, expertise, authority and trustworthiness.
  • Allow likeness and name to be used across the websites as a subject-matter expert/author.
  • Communicate with the Managing Editor and Content Editors and provide updates on production.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in law or related field
  • Professional experience with mass torts or related litigation
  • 5-10 years of experience writing about or working in the legal, medical or health space.
  • Expertise in writing or reviewing content for the web.
  • Understanding search engine optimization best practices for content creation.
  • Experienced researcher using well-known and reputable medical and scientific journals.
