This position is built around PHYSICAL LABOR.
Yes, you may operate equipment at times - but that is NOT the primary role at entry level.
The majority of your day will involve:
  • Digging trenches
  • Using shovels, rakes, and hand tools
  • Site cleanup and preparation
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Working outdoors in heat, mud, dust, and changing weather
  • Supporting crews wherever needed

Requirements

โ€ข 1-2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment.
โ€ข Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.
โ€ข Ability to maintain, inspect, clean, and occasionally repair pieces of heavy equipment.
โ€ข Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.
