Daesang America is the US branch of Daesang Corporation Daesang America is committed to marketing and distributing food and ingredient products in the US market The company’s major clients are American retailers such as Walmart, Costco, Trader Joe's, Kroger, Safeway, H Mart, and other markets It currently operates two offices, one in New Jersey as its headquarters office and the other in California as our west office


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure facilities, equipment, and work areas remain in safe, efficient, and operational condition.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance requirements, safety hazards, and repair needs.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain, organize, and ensure the proper use of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Support preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
  • Communicate maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, and repair status to supervisors and team members.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe facility areas, including production spaces, outdoor areas, and parking lots.
  • Assist with facility improvements, equipment installations, and repair projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.


Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of facility maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, or HVAC systems preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to learn maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in safely using basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift or move materials and equipment as required.
  • Previous experience in facility maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial environments is preferred.
