Job description

Kitchen & Bath Cabinet Designer

$22.00/hour + Commission | Full-Time | Fort Myers, FL

Entry-level and experienced candidates encouraged to apply. We're looking for a Designer with strong computer, customer service, and organizational skills who wants to build a career in kitchen and bath design. This is an in-person role combining CAD design and sales, with hands-on paid training provided.

Pay & Benefits

  • $22.00/hour starting, reviewed after 3 months based on performance
  • Commission and bonus opportunities once accounts are established
  • 401(k) available after 3 months
  • 5 sick days and 5 PTO days after 3 months
  • Mileage reimbursed for business use

What You'll Do

  • Design kitchens, baths, and other spaces using 2020 CAD Design (AKA Design Flex by Cyncly)
  • Budget, price, and bid cabinet designs
  • Meet with clients in the showroom and on job sites to review design options and revisions
  • Perform field measuring and layouts
  • Order cabinets and accessories
  • Coordinate with installers and vendors to resolve field issues
  • Prepare installation layouts for installers
  • Inspect completed jobs and order service parts
  • Track job status using our proprietary software

Required Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail on multi-step projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows PC and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications (training provided if you don't have these yet)

  • Experience with 2020 Design software (AKA Design Flex by Cyncly)
  • Previous experience in kitchen/bath design, cabinetry, or sales
