Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to identify their needs, style preferences, budget, and project goals
  • Create detailed kitchen, bathroom, and cabinetry layouts
  • Develop designs using 2020 Design software
  • Accurately measure spaces and translate field measurements into functional designs
  • Read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints
  • Prepare cabinet layouts, elevations, specifications, and design plans
  • Recommend cabinet styles, materials, finishes, hardware, fixtures, and design solutions
  • Work with multiple cabinet manufacturers, product lines, and catalogs
  • Prepare and review cabinet orders for accuracy before submission
  • Creatively utilize cabinet components to develop customized design solutions
  • Prepare pricing and proposals and present designs to customers
  • Follow up with prospective customers and close sales
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal team members throughout the project
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of designs, customer requests, orders, and completed work
  • Create designs for residential, multifamily, commercial, and ADA-compliant projects
  • Assist with additional design projects, which may include decks, garages, and other construction-related projects
  • Travel to project locations and client meetings as needed
  • Operate a company vehicle when assigned and authorized
