Job Summary

Accelyst is seeking a Junior .NET Developer (Recent Graduate) to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise software applications. Working under direct supervision, the successful candidate will assist in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions while supporting the configuration and enhancement of enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications, including GenTax®. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Computer Science or Information Systems graduate to launch a career in software development within a collaborative and technology-driven environment.

Job Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable, and efficient application code.
  • Support the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the GenTax® COTS application.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve software and system-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for software solutions and development activities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in software testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support application functionality and reporting requirements.
  • Follow established software development standards, security practices, and coding guidelines.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to process improvements within the development team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Recent undergraduate graduate with a strong interest in software development.
  • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies through academic projects, internships, or personal development work.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Additional Requirements
  • or (Permanent Resident) status is required.
  • Candidates must be local to the Metro Atlanta area.
  • Tax Clearance Letter is required at the time of candidate submission.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a background investigation.
  • Applicants must be compliant with Georgia state tax obligations.
  • Individuals with overdue unpaid Georgia taxes or felony convictions will not be considered.
  • Fingerprinting is required as part of the onboarding process.
