Summary:
Accelyst is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer who will design, develop, and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management and operational workflows. This role interfaces openly and effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to coordinate, implement, and promote scalable ServiceNow solutions that support the client''''s business strategy, priorities, mission, and vision.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations, integrations, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements into technical solutions.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support business operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the ServiceNow platform while ensuring system stability and performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configuration guides, and user documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team''''s technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform enhancements and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and actively participate in architecture and design discussions.
• Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations and service visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and applications.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement :
• Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM (IT Service Management), CSM (Customer Service Management/PSDS), and HAM (Hardware Asset Management).
• Hands-on experience with Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
• Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Implementation Specialist certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a dedication to delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
