Position Description


U.S. Soccer is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer to support the growth of our CRM solutions. This individual will join U.S. Soccer's growing product and technology team and contribute to the success of our Salesforce implementation and related technologies. This individual must have a strong mix of Salesforce declarative and Apex coding capabilities. This position reports to the Senior Salesforce Administrator. 


Primary Responsibilities

  • Build new features and enhancements in Salesforce for ticket sales, customer service, advancement, partnership teams, and more
  • Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying enhancements and new features following established change management processes
  • Support data migrations, integrations, and data quality efforts, ensuring accuracy and consistency across many departments.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, custom objects, and automations

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and development
  • Experience using project management software, such as JIRA
  • Understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionality; exposure to nonprofit/fundraising solutions (e.g., NPSP/NPC) preferred
  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, Lightning components, and declarative tools (flows, validation rules, page layouts)
  • Basic knowledge of data management, system integrations (e.g., APIs, middleware), and CRM best practices
  • General knowledge of soccer
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Must be able to connect "micro" details to the "macro" vision and mission
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)


Desired Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or similar certification strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated strategic hustle and work ethic with diversity of thought
  • A background in, and passion for, soccer, sports and/or entertainment is preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and priorities
