Job description

Job Title: Junior Network Technician
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6+ months

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Technician to support networking and infrastructure operations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their networking career. Candidates must be local to the DFW area and able to travel between locations as needed. Responsibilities include rack and stack of network equipment, hardware installations, basic switch configuration, cabling, equipment replacements, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting senior engineers with network deployments and maintenance. A CCNA certification (or actively pursuing one) and some experience with Cisco switch configuration are highly preferred. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has strong troubleshooting skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced field environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Willing and able to travel between customer sites throughout DFW
  • CCNA certification (preferred) or actively pursuing certification
  • Basic experience with Cisco switch configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with rack and stack, structured cabling, and hardware installations
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching)
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior engineers
