Job description

As a Telephony IT Tech with Navitor, you will administer the needs of the telephony related hardware and software of the organization’s Avaya VoIP and Verint systems, including the phone squad support desk, provide direct support to end users in troubleshooting and problem resolution, consult and guide phone related strategies for call routing and set up, install and configure hardware and software applications including upgrades and new deployments. You must be self-motivated with well-developed problem-solving skills and will need little direction to take needed action. On the Navitor Phone Squad you will be working independently and in a team environment on a daily basis.  On-the-job Training will be provided for the core concepts of this role. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration of telephony and related hardware and software applications including routine support, maintenance and monitoring
  • Provide support to users of the telephony related hardware and software applications as part of the phone squad support team
  • Researches error messages and takes necessary actions
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems affecting performance
  • Training and best practice identification of telephony and related software applications
  • Purchase of routine telephony related hardware
  • Provide telephony strategies and solutions for the organization
  • Assist with management of new site deployments, upgrades, implementations or other tasks as assigned

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, after hours & weekends as needed (with Hourly Compensation)Â
