Job description

We are seeking a skilled Lead Information Technology Support Analyst to support and maintain corporate and contract IT infrastructure across multiple locations in Northern Virginia. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently troubleshoot, maintain, and improve end-user systems and network operations.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have an active Secret or higher clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • Accept a mentorship to assist the Information Technology (IT) Specialist in providing systems support tasks for hardware devices and software packages, help with installation setups, and revise existing documentation guidelines
  • Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems
  • Provide training for teams in multi-faceted departments, answer technology questions as needed, complete administrative tasks when required, and fill out documentation when requesting new inventory
  • Commute short distances between office locations to provide support
  • Provide support to remote users and escalate issues to supervisors as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in an entry-level IT position or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years experience performing Windows based IT troubleshooting or similar
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity practices and security implementation
  • Intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Microsoft Office Suite administration (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Windows server environments and Active Directory
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and troubleshoot IT hardware and software including computers, switches, routers, printers, and their related COTS
  • Working knowledge of network engineering tasks, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and general architecture
  • Demonstrated drive to learn IT fundamentals and develop expertise in cybersecurity, networking, information security and administration in support of government related projects
  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and government security postures
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
  • Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients, and all levels of management
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be a motivated self-starter

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • DoD 8570 Baseline IAT Level I + certification(s)
  • Experience with the U.S. Military, Law Enforcement, or U.S. Government Agencies
