Job description

About the Job

Central Lense Inc. is seeking a high-performing Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Sales organization. This is a critical outbound sales role designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments and are motivated by measurable impact, career progression, and financial upside. As a Business Development Representative, you will be on the front lines of our growth engineโ€”responsible for generating high-quality, sales-qualified leads (SQLs) through strategic outbound efforts including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling. You will work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to engage IT Directors, executive stakeholders, and decision-makers across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise organizations. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who wants to build a long-term career in technology sales, gain exposure to cybersecurity and IT services, and operate within a structured, scalable sales framework.

Job Description

Central Lense Inc. is a privately owned IT & Cybersecurity services firm helping organizations across the United States protect, manage, and scale their technology environments. With $1M+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and a rapidly expanding national footprint, we partner with businesses that require reliable, secure, and forward-thinking IT solutions in an increasingly complex threat landscape. Our growth has been fueled by a consultative, outcomes-driven approach to technologyโ€”one that prioritizes long-term partnerships over transactional selling. Central Lense operates at the intersection of cybersecurity, managed IT services, and strategic advisory, supporting organizations that range from emerging SMBs to sophisticated mid-market and enterprise environments. As we continue to scale, we are investing heavily in our sales organization, infrastructure, and talent. This role represents an opportunity to join a company in a strong growth phase, influence how our go-to-market engine evolves, and directly contribute to expanding our market position.

Role Expectations

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through structured outbound prospecting
  • Execute consistent daily outreach activities across phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Qualify prospects based on business need, technical environment, budget alignment, and decision-making authority
  • Apply Central Lenseโ€™s UIIODS framework to discovery conversations to uncover pain points and strategic priorities
  • Generate a predictable pipeline of sales-qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate, real-time CRM records and pipeline activity
  • Continuously improve messaging, objection handling, and prospecting strategies based on feedback and results
Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Research target accounts and stakeholders to personalize messaging and outreach strategies
  • Initiate discovery conversations with IT Directors, executives, and key decision-makers
  • Qualify opportunities using defined sales criteria before handing off to Account Executives
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to align on target accounts, vertical strategies, and pipeline goals
  • Leverage CRM systems to track activity, manage leads, and report on performance metrics
  • Utilize tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and AI-driven platforms to improve prospecting efficiency
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity, meeting, and pipeline targets
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, IT challenges, and competitive positioning
Things We Are Looking For
  • A self-starter with a strong internal drive to exceed goals and performance benchmarks
  • A financially motivated professional who thrives in commission-based environments
  • Someone who brings confidence, professionalism, and credibility into executive-level conversations
  • A resilient individual who handles rejection well and maintains consistent outbound discipline
  • A competitive mindset balanced with a consultative, customer-first approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with executive polish
  • A hunger to learn, improve, and grow within a technology-focused sales career
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of outbound sales experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar role
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in related technology fields (IT, cybersecurity, SaaS, or consulting)
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing role requiring professional communication
  • Background in technology, sales, or IT consulting strongly preferred
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo (preferred)
  • Comfort using modern AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to enhance productivity
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently
Why Join Us?

At Central Lense Inc., you are not just filling a seatโ€”you are helping shape a growing organization. We offer an environment where performance is recognized, growth is intentional, and sales professionals are equipped with the tools, frameworks, and leadership needed to succeed. You will gain exposure to complex enterprise sales cycles, work alongside experienced sales leaders, and develop a deep understanding of cybersecurity and IT servicesโ€”one of the fastest-growing and most critical industries today.
