Job description

Azul Vision is the largest eye care practice in Orange County, Inland Empire, and the Los Angeles area, with Twenty-Five locations and our newest location is Palm Desert to serve you conveniently and comfortably. Our world-class eye doctors are experts in all aspects of eye care as well as leading specialists in vision correction, cataract surgery, and laser eye surgery. We offer everything from cataract removal to cosmetic procedures such as eyelid surgery. You can rest assured you will receive cutting-edge treatment in a comfortable, friendly, and high-tech environment.

In this role, you will provide fast, effective, Tier 1 and Tier 2 level helpdesk support based in a Windows environment. Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and succeed where others come up short. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting computer hardware, software, printers, audio/visual applications, and basic problems with Local Area Networks. Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote tools, and cloud environments is strongly preferred. The right person will be comfortable communicating via face to face, telephone, and email. That person will have a willingness to help others and can thrive in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support, ensuring the problem is resolved to the end user's satisfaction the first time, every time.
  • Interface with staff and third parties to understand, diagnose, and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer system hardware, software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment.
  • Setting up of new computers by configuring operating system and software applications using standard business and administrative tools. Installing peripheral equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting network equipment: routers, switches, modems, and wireless access control devices, Ethernet cabling, etc.
  • Provide support to staff via on-site assistance, telephone and/or remote access connectivity.
  • Be able to work unsupervised and independently on projects.
  • Document procedures related to job duties.
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
