Job description

The experienced IT Administrative Lead will oversee administrative and operational support activities for a DoD IT program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing personnel, budgets, and task execution in accordance with DoD standards and contract requirements.
Salary: $30-$32/hour 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative and operational functions of a large IT support contract.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Coordinate with DoD stakeholders to ensure contract deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Supervise and evaluate technical and administrative personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to DoD standards, policies, and security protocols.
  • Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and performance reports.
  • Track contract milestones and manage risk through proactive issue resolution.
  • Support program reviews, audits, and inspections.
  • Facilitate communication across departments and with government representatives


Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI strongly preferred).
  • CompTIA Security+ or other IAT Level II certification.
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in IT administration and DoD program management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams in a DoD or federal contracting environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, ITIL practices, and federal compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
