Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The IT Data Administrator supports Farmer Focus by creating,maintaining, and organizing companywide data tools, dashboards, and reporting resources that improve visibility, accuracy, and decision-making across departments. Reporting to the IT Data Manager, this role uses platforms such as Power BI/Ri360, Smartsheet, Neat Data, and other business systems to convert operational information into accessible dashboards and digital workflows. This position also supports the company's transition from paper-based processes to streamlined digital formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create,maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data views across the company using Power BI,Smartsheet,SQL, PowerQuery,and other assigned systemsand tools.

  • Write and execute basic SQL queries to retrieve,validate,and analyze data in support of reporting and business operations.

  • Partner with departments to understand data needs, gather reporting requirements, organize source information, and translate business needs into useful digital tools and dashboards.

  • Support the transition of paper-based forms, logs, trackers, and processes into digital formats that improve consistency, accessibility, and workflow efficiency.

  • Monitor dashboard accuracy, troubleshoot data or reporting issues, perform routine updates, and helpmaintaindata integrity across reporting tools and connected systems.

  • Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders toidentifyopportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.

  • Assist the IT Data Manager withadditionaldata administration, reporting, documentation, system support, and special projects as requested.

  • Participate in data governance initiatives by promoting data standards, naming conventions, and best practices across reporting solutions.

  • Perform testing of new software functions and processes to ensure theyoperateas intended. Document all test results and work with development teams and vendors to resolve issues prior to releasing software for business user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Perform training to the different users/groups whenever new software or software functions are deployed for the business.

  • Assistwith data validation, data quality reviews, and root cause analysis toidentifyinconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.

  • Create,maintain, and update internal IT documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flows, and technical documentation to support consistency, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity.

  • Support the administration, security, and governance of reporting platforms, ensuringappropriate accessand compliance with company policies.

  • Responsible for following, supporting, and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures.

  • All other related duties as assigned by Management.

Compensation

Compensation:$60,000 - $70,000 annually

The posted compensation range for this role reflects the minimum andmaximumamount Farmer Focus in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting, based on factors such as internal equity, relevant experience, market data, and the budgeted amount available for the position.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • Self-motivated withthe ability to manage andprioritize responsibilitieseffectivelywhile working independently and as part of across-functionalteamin afast-pacedenvironment.

  • Experience creating,maintaining, or supporting dashboards, reports, data trackers, databases, or digital workflow tools in a business environment.

  • Proficiencyor strong working knowledge of Power BI,Smartsheet,MicrosoftExcel, and related data organization or visualization tools.

  • Beginner tointermediateproficiencyor strong working knowledge of SQL and Power Query to develop andmaintaintransformations to extract,validateand prepare data for reporting,analysisand business decision-making.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to organize information accurately across multiple systems and stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members, document processes clearly, and support users as digital tools are implemented or improved.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

This position is performed onsite in an office environment with regular use of computers, business systems, and standard office equipment. The role may require occasional time in production or operational areas to understand workflows, gather process information, or support digital transition projects;appropriate PPEand site procedures must be followed when entering those areas. The position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, type, view computer screens, communicate with team members, and manage multiple priorities during the workday.
