Production Technician I -ISP 3rd Shift

About the Role
Operate and support a fast-paced production line, machine, or palletizer to help create high-quality hygiene products. You'll follow clear specifications and SOPs while keeping the line running smoothly and efficiently. As a key part of the shift team, you'll play a hands-on role in driving strong machine performance and delivering great results.
Schedule: 3rd shift (10:30PM- 6AM)
What You Will Do
  • An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
  • Works within Essity safety standards, with responsibility for personal and others' safety
  • Run and monitor your machine to keep production flowing, making adjustments as needed using Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
  • Work closely with your Team Leader and skilled operators whenever support or guidance is needed.
  • Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing, following our Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication with both the previous and next shift, as well as all team members involved in running the machine.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Support teammates with operating tasks and contribute to a smooth, efficient production flow.
  • Ensure top-notch product quality by performing regular checks and rejecting or blocking items that don't meet specifications.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Accurately complete all required production documentation and data logs.

Who You Are
  • High, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Entry-level experience - 0-1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Basic mathematical, computer literacy skills
  • Ability to lift and frequently stand, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Quick learner
  • Be able to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends, as needed or required.

Compensation and Benefits:
Starting pay: $17.73 per hour + 0.75 shift differential + full benefits.
Compensation increases after successful completion of on-the-job training.
