As a Direct Sales Representative, you will be responsible for securing new recurring revenue from residential prospects and securing new incremental revenue from existing customers by pro-actively communicating with the prospect or customer through in person visits. ย 

What you will do to contribute to the company's success ย ย 

  • Conduct quality face to face in-home sales presentations to new Hargray customers. ย 

  • Identify customer needs, wants, and desires in conversation and match with company products and diplomatically handle interactions with potential customers. ย 

  • Reconcile daily sales orders with install reports and keep documentation of sales orders. ย 

  • Attend sales meetings in person and training sessions as directed by management. ย 

  • Achieve established sales goals and quotas. ย 

  • Work independently to promote the sales of Hargray residential products and services. ย 

  • Manage a monthly portfolio of prospects managing your time and route to maximize face to face interactions. ย 

  • Perform other related duties as assignedย ย 

Qualificationsย ย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent ย 

  • A minimum of one year of proven sales experience; or 2 years of college; or equivalent combination of sales experience and college education ย 

  • Stable work history ย 

  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation/vehicle where applicable and automobile insurance as required by Hargray ย 

  • Maintain proper appearance/attitude at all times to represent Hargray in the community ย 

  • Must have basic mathematical and computer skills ย 

  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk for extensive periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds ย 

  • Must be able to work evening and weekend requirements ย 

  • Proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize ย 

  • Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills ย
