Role Summary / Purpose
The Inventory Control Clerk I plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring material movement is tracked efficiently and correctly. This is an entry-level position designed to build foundational skills in inventory control, accuracy, and organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily inventory counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
Support cycle counting and material reconciliation efforts.
Verify material receipts and maintain organized stock areas.
Tag, label, and store inventory items accurately.
Communicate shortages, overages, or damaged materials to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in designated inventory zones.
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
Successful Key Results
Maintain 98% or higher inventory accuracy in assigned areas.
Complete assigned cycle counts on time each week.
Ensure all materials are clearly labeled and organized daily.
Communicate discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Demonstrate consistent improvement in understanding ERP (Titan) transactions.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
0-1 year of experience in inventory, warehouse, or related field.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory software a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork mindset.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an outdoor/industrial environment.
