The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring inventory flows, performing cycle counts, and supporting daily warehouse operations through an inventory management system. This position requires good computer operating skills, a careful and responsible work attitude, and the ability to collaborate with the warehouse team to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Main job duties
· Perform daily inventory inventory and circular inventory exercises.
· Investigate and resolve inventory quantity discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS and SAP systems.
· Check the accuracy of incoming, outgoing and inventory data.
· Process inventory adjustments, transfers and related system records.
· Coordinates with the warehouse team in the collection, sorting, packaging and delivery of goods.
· Produce inventory statements and assist management with inventory analysis.
· Monitor inventory levels to detect shortages or excess inventory.
· Maintain clean warehouse spaces and traceability of inventory.
· Assist in improving inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
· Priority is given to those with more than 1 year of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations or logistics.
· SAP operation experience is preferred.
· Familiar with Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.
· Good computer skills and Microsoft Excel.
· Work conscientiously and with good organizational skills and problem solving skills.
· Be able to do work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
· Can handle up to about 50 pounds of cargo.
· Ability to stand, walk and move through the warehouse for long periods of time.
Priority conditions
· Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is required.
· Experience with inventory reconciliation and circular inventory counting is preferred.
· Priority is given to those with experience in logistics, warehousing, e-commerce or manufacturing.
