Job description

Low Voltage Security Technician

(Not Entry Level ) We are hiring an experienced Low Voltage Security Technician with experience in Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Candidates should be familiar with Honeywell systems and comfortable working directly with customers and project teams.
Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and service:
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV/IP Camera Systems
    • Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Perform system surveys and assist with upgrades
  • Install low voltage cabling, readers, strikes, cameras, motion detectors, and related hardware
  • Work with IT teams and third-party vendors during commissioning and setup
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Travel throughout the Northeast region as needed
Preferred Experience

  • Honeywell ProWatch and Vista systems
  • Hanwha cameras and Milestone VMS
  • Access control and CCTV installations
  • Fire alarm experience (plus)
  • High voltage experience (plus)
  • Programming experience (plus, not required)
Requirements

  • 2 years experience min. required
  • Low voltage/security installation experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must speak English well
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and on job sites
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
