Role Overview

The Entry Level Mortgage Sales Representative plays a key support role in the loan origination process while actively developing the skills needed to grow into a licensed Loan officer. This position works directly with licensed LOs to assist with client communication, lead follow-up, file preparation, and overall pipeline management.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to break into the mortgage industry, gain hands-on training, and build a long-term career in sales and finance.
Licensed Loan Officers are responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, building and maintaining referral relationships, and guiding clients through the financing process from application to closing. This role is ideal for self-motivated professionals who are driven by performance, value strong operational support, and are looking to scale their producton within a collaborative and growth-focused environment. 
At Zoom Mortgage, Licensed LOs are equipped with dediacted support, responsive processing, and a culture built around accountability, integrity, and long-term success. 

What You’ll Be Doing

    Communicating with clients to guide them through the mortgage process from initial inquiry to closing
    Making outbound and follow-up calls to warm leads, referral partners, and past clients
•   Collecting and reviewing required documentation to ensure accurate and complete loan files
•   Working closely with processing and underwriting teams to move files efficiently through the pipeline
•    Providing consistent updates to clients and referral partners to ensure a smooth customer experience
•    Managing pipeline activity, tracking milestones, and maintaining detailed CRM notes
•    Building and maintaining strong relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional service
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) who is self‑directed, proactive, accountable, and comfortable owning their pipeline in a broker environment.

  • Has prior loan origination experience (preferred, but not required at this time)
  • Can work company‑provided leads while operating with autonomy
  • Is familiar with the broker model and wholesale lending environment   
  • Strong phone presence with the ability to handle objections confidently, and deliver exceptional customer service
