Position Overview:

The Infrastructure Engineer III is a mid-level technical contributor responsible for building, operating, and supporting cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments. This role focuses on cloud-native and PaaS-first services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform reliability, security fundamentals, and cost awareness. The engineer works under the guidance of senior engineers and architects to implement well-defined designs and ensure cloud platforms are stable, secure, and supportable.
This position is ideal for an engineer who has solid hands-on cloud experience, is comfortable working in production environments, and is continuing to grow depth across cloud operations, automation, and enterprise governance.

Job Description:

****Please Note: While this position is listed as hybrid, regular in-office attendance is required. Candidates should be prepared to commute to the office on a consistent basis to support team collaboration and business needs.****

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Master's in Science, Computer Science, Technology, Information Technology, Engineering or closely related field


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Exposure to container platforms such as AKS and Azure Container Apps.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Experience supporting regulated, highly available, or enterprise-scale environments.

  • Working knowledge of cloud IaaS and PaaS services.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.

  • Experience working within agile, DevOps, or ITIL-based operational teams

  • Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, information services (IS) team members, management, and executive personnel/staff.

  • Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts and ideas.

  • Organize workflow to accomplish established objectives.

  • Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.

  • Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.

  • Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues from different departments to achieve a common goal or to gain better understanding of client needs.

  • Perform effectively in environments with frequent and fluctuating workload changes, competing demands, and frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
