This is an exciting role that offers you the opportunity to both collaborate and help build the M2 Technology organization, while also being able to apply your technical skills with your very own customer accounts. This role is perfect for a high-energy individual who can function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities progressing at one time.

M2 Technology is an IT services company based in Green Bay Wisconsin. We proudly serve over 130 customers within the state of Wisconsin, including our affiliated company M2 Logistics (located in Green Bay WI, Denver CO, and Salt Lake City UT).
M2 Technology provides IT consulting and technical support services to a variety of customers and covering a vast range of functional areas including but not limited to infrastructure/LAN design and implementation, hardware procurement, cyber security, data backups, remote monitoring, as well as fully outsourced IT solutions. In the IT Solutions Manager role, you will get the opportunity to work in all these functional areas, and provide leadership, critical thinking, and decision making within a business setting.
Main Accountabilities
  • This is a proactive position. You work to integrate with the client and become their IT department, part of their staff as much as you are part of ours.
  • Be the representation of the M2 Technology team inside the client environment. You are the face the client sees and the standard they judge us by.
  • Hands-on role past the entry-level stage, supporting client networks, servers, and end users in the field and remote.
  • Fix what is broken, build what is needed, and be the dependable name a client is glad to see show up.
  • Respond quickly to client requests and handle client projects, triage fast, and keep work moving until it is resolved.
  • Support and maintain Windows desktops, Windows Server environments, and macOS across multiple client sites.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive) and on-prem Active Directory.
  • Stand up, configure, and troubleshoot networking gear (firewalls, switches, wireless, VPN) and server hardware.
  • Handle backup, recovery, patching, and endpoint security through the standard toolset.
  • Travel to client locations across Greater Green Bay, the Fox Valley, and Northern and Central Wisconsin.
  • Flexibility to do what is needed to get the job done, and the ability to manage your own time.
  • Document work clearly so the next person (or the client) can follow it

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in the associated job duties and essential functions
  • Excellent communication and listening skills are required
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to build and convey business insight through data and reporting
  • Solid understanding IT infrastructure and hardware
  • Must be willing to support customers after-hours as needed
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure, in a quickly changing environment
  • Ability to travel locally to customers (within ~2 hour radius typically) about 20-50% of the time
  • Engineering software exposure: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor, Civil 3D, Fusion 360, MicroStation, Creo, CATIA, NX, SketchUp.
  • Dental software and medical terminology: Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, DTX Studio, Dexis, Carestream, Sidexis, 3Shape, Vatech, J. Morita is a bonus
