Cyber Incident Response - Sr Analyst

Background: The Cyber Incident Management is part of Cybersecurity team within the Protect Pillar in Systems. The Protect Pillar is a unique BBH-construct designed for clear, centralized and coordinated accountability: to protect against physical and logical security risks; to safeguard stakeholder assets; and to detect, prepare for, and respond effectively to security events. To that end, the Protect Pillar encompasses the following areas:

  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
  • Cybersecurity;
  • Enterprise Data Protection and Data Governance;
  • Global Security; and
  • Information Security Management ("ISM").

Given that technology is an integral component of the Pillar's control measures and a key asset to safeguard, the Protect Pillar sits within BBH's Systems organization.

Role: Reporting to the Cyber Incident Response Manager within the Cybersecurity Team, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Incident Response - Analyst to become part of a dynamic incident response team. Responsibilities include:

  • Incident Management & Coordination:coordinate and work closely with cross-functional teams (SOC, IT, Legal, Antifraud, Privacy) during a cyber incident investigation
  • Communication & Reporting:support senior analyst on on-going cyber incident investigation. Timely escalate as needed
  • Documentation & Reporting:Create draft CSIRT notifications, post incident "Lessons Learned" reports and update security policies, procedures, and documentation based on incident findings.
  • Internal cyber events: Coordinate cyber incident response process from initial detection to resolution, ensuring timely and effective action and communicating with relevant stakeholders appropriately
  • Documentation and Playbooks: Update incident response documentation (tracking incidents, updating procedures, updating playbooks, metrics etc.)
  • Social engineering Simulations: Support social engineering exercises to raise employee awareness of social engineering risks

Qualifications:

  • Understanding and / or coursework in cyber security and incident management, preferably within financial services. Understand latest cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

Salary Range

$80,000 - $95,000 + annual target bonus
