Mohs Surgeon with General Dermatology - InterMed, P.A. | Portland, Maine
Full-Time | Outpatient | Dermatology
Join our growing Dermatology team! We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Dermatologist with Fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery to provide high-quality patient care in a thriving, well-supported clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mohs surgeon looking to build a robust practice with strong referral volume and dedicated operational support.
Position Highlights:
  • Full-time outpatient role: 2 days General Dermatology / 2 days Mohs
  • Strong, built-in referral base with high Mohs demand
  • Collaborative team of dermatologists and advanced practice providers
  • Dedicated Mohs support staff and state-of-the-art surgical suite
  • Robust referrals from InterMed's expansive primary and specialty network
  • Mix of Mohs surgery, dermatologic evaluations, procedures, and follow-up care
  • Perform dermatologic evaluations, procedures, and follow-up care
  • Engage with referring providers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed, accurate medical documentation
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and clinical best practices
  • No hospital call; excellent work-life balance
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Dermatology
  • Completion of an approved Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship
  • Eligible for Maine state medical licensure, Maine DEA.

Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
