What We Are Looking For:
Entry level in the Accounting Services department. The Accounting Analyst is responsible for training client accounting staff on KeyStone functionality, supporting credit unions in balancing of clearing/suspense accounts, building of financial statements and serving as a remote resource, on-site as needed during conversion week.
Requirements
  • Work closely with the client and mentor to understand the clients existing functionality and processes, consult with client to configure existing processes to KeyStone.
  • With guidance, prepare the client for the GL conversion process. Assist client through the conversion process and provide training and/or support during and through post conversion.
  • Work with client on table mapping to the new GL chart of Accounts, GL Accrual types, A/P Vendors, Invoice Types, Work Queues. Provide guidance in setting up batch jobs for all GL related functions.
  • Responsible for understanding and practicing basic concepts of database setup that require GL Information, this includes but not limited to: Shares, Loans, Fees, FASB91, Cash Drawers, Fed Withholding, State Withholding, Environment Inventory, Money Order, Checking accounts, ACH Interface, Draft Interface
  • Provide training via Web-ex on KeyStone's General Ledger product.
  • Travel on-site for GL Conversion and support on a needed basis.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and team members throughout the entire conversion process.
  • Identify potential issues and ensure proper resolution is reached.
  • Become familiar with KeyStone's GL package and other related GL products.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

1 year of related experience. Credit Union/Banking experience is preferred.
Education (1) A college degree in accounting preferred or (2) multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs or (3) in-depth industry and job specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training.
