Are you an experienced HUD Community Manager who knows compliance inside and out? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead by example, and take ownership without being micromanaged?

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a seasoned professional with strong HUD and/or LIHTC experience who is ready to make an immediate impact.

What You'll Do

As Community Manager, you will oversee all aspects of community operations, including:

  • Ensure full compliance with HUD, LIHTC, HOTMA, Fair Housing, and company policies.
  • Complete certifications, annual and interim recertifications, and EIV processing accurately and on time.
  • Prepare for MORs, REAC inspections, and file audits with confidence.
  • Lead and develop your onsite team through coaching, accountability, and training.
  • Drive occupancy goals through effective leasing, resident retention, and marketing efforts.
  • Oversee rent collections, subsidy payments, budgeting, invoice approvals, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with maintenance to ensure work orders, turns, and preventive maintenance are completed timely.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while resolving resident concerns professionally.
  • Maintain organized records and submit all required reports accurately and on time.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For


We're searching for someone who:

  • Has 2+ years of Community Manager experience in HUD and/or LIHTC affordable housing.
  • Understands HUD regulations, EIV, HOTMA, and affordable housing compliance.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Leads with accountability and professionalism.
  • Is comfortable making decisions independently.
  • Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Is proficient in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HUD and/or LIHTC Certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred by not required
  • Experience leading onsite teams
