TLG Peterbilt is seeking a driven and relationship-focused recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts across assigned dealership locations. This role serves as a strategic business partner to hiring managers by developing and executing recruiting strategies, building strong talent pipelines, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding.

Responsibilities:

The recruiter will collaborate with operational leaders to identify workforce needs, implement customized recruitment plans, and drive hiring success across multiple locations. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, creativity in sourcing talent, and the ability to coach leaders on best-practice hiring and interviewing techniques.

This position plays a key role in supporting TLG's growth by attracting top talent, promoting our employer brand, and driving training initiatives that strengthen our teams.

Travel up to 30% is required.

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract and hire qualified talent across assigned TLG locations.
  • Source, screen, and manage candidates through multiple channels including job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Partner with hiring managers to guide the hiring process, maintain talent pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
Employer Branding & Community Engagement
  • Represent TLG Peterbilt at career fairs, technical schools, colleges, universities, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate talent pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, workforce development organizations, and community partners.
  • Promote TLG Peterbilt as an employer of choice through recruitment marketing, community involvement, and talent outreach initiatives.
Leadership Partnership & Training
  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to managers by providing guidance on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and hiring best practices.
  • Ensure assigned locations have the recruiting tools, resources, and support needed to successfully attract and retain talent.
  • Deliver manager training and support workforce planning initiatives to meet current and future staffing needs.
HR Systems & Training Administration
  • Utilize the HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage recruiting activities, maintain accurate records, and drive hiring efficiency.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and provide insights to support data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate and administer HR-driven training programs and online learning platforms to support employee development and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Experience in recruiting or similar field
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or communications is preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of various web-based applications and recruitment software.
  • Must be a proficient verbal and written communicator.
