Overview
Provide safe, efficient and friendly service to all passengers utilizing the hospital employee shuttle system. Drive and operate a 15-passenger shuttle to transport hospital employees along designated route on the hospital campus.
Shift
  • Saturday and Sunday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous service to all passengers utilizing friendly greetings, smiles and professional interaction.
  • Report for scheduled shift on time and in uniform.
  • Ensure vehicle interior is clean and free of debris at all times.
  • Maintain and log accurate passenger counts each hour and report data as needed.
  • Complete daily vehicle logs each shift accurately.
  • Report any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately and document on daily log.
  • Work with supervisor to fuel vehicles without compromising service levels.
  • Transport passengers to and from campus to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Obey all traffic laws at all times.
  • Maintain a clean driving record notifying supervisor of any moving violations.
  • Provide expediting and dispatching support for shuttles, as directed by supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver's License, responsible driving record
  • Previous driving experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • High standard of integrity
  • Experience delivering quality service in customer/public environment
  • Displays a positive attitude, flexibility, initiative and ability to communicate effectively
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to enter and exit a shuttle vehicle while navigating stairs in a safe manner.
