Job Description
Cabell Huntington Hospital is a seeking a part-time Cook for our Food Service Department. Under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, a Cook prepares, seasons and cooks food for hospital patients, employees and visitors.
To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of two years of batch or high volume cooking experience within the past three years.
The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge of food preparation, knife skills and principles of food sanitation. Position requires the ability to accomplish task with a reasonable amount of speed. The incumbent must be trained within one month of starting date.
Job Requirements
Food Handling Certificate from the Cabell County Health Department required.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged standing
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift twenty-five pounds
  • Visual and auditory acuity
