Job description

IT Support Technician Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide both help desk and desktop support within a large enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys helping others, and is eager to grow their IT skills.

The successful candidate will support end users through a combination of phone-based troubleshooting and hands-on technical support, assisting with device deployments, Office 365 initiatives, hardware support, and day-to-day IT operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesHelp Desk Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests.
  • Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting for Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, hardware, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common end-user issues via phone, email, and remote support tools.
  • Document, track, and update incidents using a ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness.
Desktop & Project Support
  • Provide hands-on desktop support, installations, and workstation deployments.
  • Support hardware and software troubleshooting, break-fix activities, and equipment replacements.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 rollout and user provisioning activities.
  • Support asset management efforts, including inventory tracking and equipment organization.
  • Prepare, clean, organize, and deploy IT equipment for various projects.
  • Assist with project setup activities and basic technology installations at multiple locations.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with help desk, desktop support, and infrastructure teams.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues when needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions.
  • Follow established support processes and service level expectations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
