Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior-Level Help Desk Support professional to provide technical assistance to employees and troubleshoot basic computer, software, and technology-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 1 year of help desk or technical support experience who is looking to grow their IT career.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees.
  • Troubleshoot basic computer, software, and technical issues.
  • Assist with password and account-related issues.
  • Set up and maintain computers, monitors, printers, and other equipment
  • Install and update software as needed
  • Respond to help desk requests in a timely manner
  • Document technical issues and resolutions
  • Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary
  • Provide professional and friendly customer service


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • IT-related education, certification, or technical training preferred
  • At least 1 year of help desk, technical support, or related IT experience preferred
  • CompTIA A+, IT support certification, or related coursework is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new technology and work independently
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered
