Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 17 hospitalists, including 3 Nurse Practitioners, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
  • Sound Physicians Intensivists provide support to the hospitalist team.

Qualifications:

  • Internal medicine and family medicine candidates are eligible. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible with the expectation of obtaining certification.
  • Ability to work with residents.
  • New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • H1B candidates invited to apply; access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists, as well as our licensing and credentialing experts.

Scheduling:

  • Swing shift schedule is a 12-hour shift; 3p- 3a.
  • Average of 16 shifts per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work in an open ICU environment, though no procedures are required.
  • The role utilizes Epic EMR, with access to Sound Physicians’ internal informatics platform for seamless patient management.
