Summary:
The Physical Therapist provides services to adult patients with health issues. Physical therapy can be extremely rewarding because you have the opportunity to help people regain some level of independence. Our long-term Partner nursing home facilities offer outstanding opportunities, with competitive compensations, for dynamic Physical Therapist who provide quality care. This position must provide superior communication skills, customer satisfaction and follow required guidelines while maintaining top quality, patient care services.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, document and manage patients strength, range of motion and muscle performance.
• Provide on-going physical therapy care that complies with the organization's best practices, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop treatment plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcomes.
• Determine the patient’s ability to be independent and reintegrate themselves successfully upon completion of care.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
• Master's Degree or equivalent as licensed Physical Therapist
• Maintain valid state Physical Therapy license is required
• Superior Verbal Communication, Patient Services, Health Care Administration, Teamwork, Use of Medical Technologies, Bedside Manner, Dependability, Health Promotion, and Maintenance
• Must possess intermediate computer skills
