We are currently looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Entry Level Automotive Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Job Overview: As an Entry Level Automotive Maintenance Technician, you will perform basic maintenance and repair tasks under the supervision of senior technicians. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about vehicles and eager to learn more about automotive systems. You will receive hands-on training to develop essential skills needed to diagnose and repair vehicles effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance & Inspections: Perform routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, tire repair, tire mount and balance, fluid checks and replacements, air filter changes, battery replacement, and brake inspections, brake pads and rotor replacement.
  • Assist in Repairs: Work under the supervision of senior technicians to assist in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, electrical systems, and suspension.
  • Vehicle Safety Inspections: Conduct basic vehicle safety inspections and communicate necessary repairs to senior technicians or service advisors.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by delivering clear communication regarding vehicle maintenance needs and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Tool & Equipment Management: Assist in the proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Workplace Safety: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate records of all service work completed and document vehicle conditions using the company’s system.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in on-the-job training and attend workshops or courses to develop technical skills, as well as stay up to date with industry trends and vehicle technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and technology (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an automotive service or repair setting (internships, apprenticeships, or part-time roles).
  • Technical certifications (e.g., ASE, automotive school training) or ongoing automotive training.
